Don Covert Jr. is the owner/ president of Covert Innovations, LLC he has been in the tooling business for 30 years serving as both an Operation Manager and Sales Manager for the tooling industry.
A graduate of Lexington High school, he attended Ohio State University for two years before accepting a position of Ohio Journeymanship. He served 5 years and received a journeyman’s degree as a Master Patternmaker in 1993.
Don served as president of the Pattern Model & Plastic Tool Builders Association in 1997 & 1998.
He has spearheaded the advancement of manufacturing processes to fulfill the expansion of sales and continues trying to improve plant throughput with continual training and development of critical software used for implementing and tracking efficiencies.
Christine is the production control director at Covert Innovations. With 20 years experience in manufacturing, Chris brings a valuable skillset of proficiently networking production control across domestic and customer departments.
Zak is the Quality, Design, and IT director at Covert Innovations. He is a graduate of Kent State University with a passion for information processing and detail. Zak is experienced in design engineering, field and lab research, document control, and effectively communicating to his team and customers.
Luke is the project manager at Covert Innovations. He is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in business management and a scope for workflow efficiency. Luke is experienced in top-down organizational management, conflict resolution, project scope and the processes required. He successfully communicates project conditions to the team and customers.
